Competent Agent Part A - Starting Out

This full-day course is aimed at delegates who are new to or who have recently started in the estate agency industry and wish to create a firm foundation from which to move their career forward.

During the day delegates will learn about the role of a sales negotiator, the tasks and functions that they need to carry out on a regular basis, details of the process involved when moving home, legislation that they must be aware of and comply with, as well as the importance of delivering outstanding customer service.

PLEASE NOTE: This course covers similar topics to the Effective Estate Agency Part 1 course that ran in previous years.

Tim Wakelin, Course Trainer

Tim Wakelin

Tim has worked in the residential property industry for in excess of 25 years as an estate agent, letting & managing agent, trainer, and consultant, working with both single office independent companies and multi-office organisations throughout the UK.

Tim has contributed to a number of articles in publications including The Estate Agent, Agreement Magazine, The Independent and The Financial Times in relation to risk management and residential property in the UK. He is a Fellow of NAEA Propertymark and holds a level 4 Certificate in Residential Letting and Management.
