Propertymark Agents do Sport Relief 2018

Monday 19 March 2018

From Monday 19 March to Friday 23 March, two Hereford based NAEA Propertymark estate agents will be swapping their snappy suits for cycling shorts to take on a challenge like no other.

Colleagues Craig Sewell and Liam Edwards will be putting their athletic abilities to the test this week, as they conduct all appointments, viewings and valuations by bike, in aid of Sport Relief.

Relying on pedal power alone, 33-year-old Craig and 21-year-old Liam, who both work for Andrew Morris Estate Agents, will be covering a staggering 20-mile radius to reach their customers.

James Maggs photography managed to capture a snap of the pair with their bikes, kindly on loan from Mastercraft, a cycle shop close to their Bridge Street office.

We caught up with Craig last week to find out why the duo had chosen to take on the challenge.

“We have decided to take on the challenge to not only raise money for a great charity, but to also 'go green' for the week. As an agency we take part in a number of fundraising events throughout the year, and having always been sporty people Liam and I and thought Sport Relief was a great way for us to continue our fundraising efforts.

“In all honesty though, we haven’t been in training much. Liam plays football every week so is quite fit, but I unfortunately am not!

“The rest of the Andrew Morris team have been, and will be supporting us through the week and they are also taking part themselves by participating in the Billion Steps Challenge that Sports Relief are organizing. We have had a fantastic response from the people of Hereford with phone calls of encouragement and appreciation. They have also been digging into their pockets and with the online donations and sponsorship forms we are well on our way to our £1,000 target.”
