We are delighted to launch our search for the next NAEA Propertymark Vice President and ARLA Propertymark Vice President (VP).
The presidential team work alongside the Chief Executives in representing the industry in the media, meeting members face-to-face at events across the UK and highlighting key issues facing consumers and the industry.
Elected VPs will progress to President Elect before a year as President. As VP and as President Elect you will be called on from time to time to support the President for that year, for example external speaking events, media opportunities and Propertymark conferences etc.
The process
The roles carry a significant commitment and in return further the individual’s experience and leadership role within the industry. For this reason candidates will only be able to move forward in the process following attendance at a formal interview as part of an assessment day at Arbon House, Warwick on 27 March. This day is essential in ensuring that candidates have the appropriate skills and experience and understand the commitment involved and will include information from past presidents and Arbon House staff.
After this, candidates simply need to be proposed and seconded by other members to enter the ballot.
If you're an ARLA Propertymark or NAEA Propertymark member and are keen to find out more, please email Stephanie Williams by 22 February and attach a CV outlining your career history. Please specify whether you are applying for the ARLA Propertymark or NAEA Propertymark post.
When would the roles commence?
The VPs will take up their roles after the AGM in June of this year, following a ballot in which all NAEA Propertymark and ARLA Propertymark members can vote.
We're also looking to appoint for the Propertymark Board
At the Propertymark Annual General meeting (AGM) in June, one Director from ARLA Propertymark and one from NAEA Properymark will retire from the Propertymark Board. Therefore we will be looking to appoint new people for these roles.
