Continuing Professional Development

Continuing Professional Development (CPD) is integral to membership. It ensures that you continue to be at the forefront of your profession. It helps with making persuasive arguments, winning instructions and progressing your career. CPD forms a significant part of how we demonstrate to our entire audience, the professionalism of our members.

All members are required to undertake a least 12 hours’ CPD activity per year with a minimum of four hours obtained through educational events including short courses, conferences or Regional Meetings and eight hours obtained through relevant private study. The CPD year runs from 1 January to 31 December and CPD must be logged by 31 January of the following year.

We regularly create new opportunities for CPD, securing high-quality speakers for Regional Meetings across the country and producing high quality, thought-provoking articles via Property Professional magazine and newsletters. We are committed to supporting you by offering discounts on our industry-leading short courses.

The CPD hours that we request is based on one hour per month. For example, if you join us in May you only need to record seven hours CPD for the months June through to December.
