Katrine became The Property Ombudsman in November 2015. Previously, Katrine was Chief Executive of the Planning Inspectorate for England and Wales. The role of the Property Ombudsman is to resolve disputes between buyers, sellers, tenants or landlords of property in the UK and Agents. The Ombudsman also has a responsibility to contribute towards establishing best practice in the property agency sector. Summaries of cases are regularly published and the Annual Report highlights significant matters within the industry.
