Katrine Sporle

Katrine Sporle CBE became The Property Ombudsman on 1st November 2015. Previously, Katrine was Chief Executive of the Planning Inspectorate for England and Wales. The role of the Property Ombudsman is to resolve disputes between buyers, sellers, tenants or landlords of property in the UK and Agents. The Ombudsman also has a responsibility to contribute towards establishing best practice in the property agency sector. Summaries of cases are regularly published and the Annual Report highlights significant matters within the industry.

Daryl McIntosh

Daryl is the Strategic Development Manager for Propertymark and is a board member for the Property Ombudsman Scotland and Safe Deposits Scotland. He has a background in law and has worked in the property industry for in excess of 20 years.

He represents Propertymark at Government consultations and meetings to enable Propertymark to shape legislation for the benefit of the industry. It also allows us to prepare our members for new legislation and forthcoming legislation changes.
