Miss Lauren Scott

Owner and Director of Trading Places, Lauren Scott, is NAEA Propertymark President. Lauren is familiar to many as she has been Regional Executive for the North of England since 2014, and Propertymark board member since 2015. Lauren set up Newcastle estate agent Trading Places when she was just 23 years old, creating one of the city’s best-known property businesses. A driven and hard-working professional with specialist knowledge in everything from valuations to improvements and investments, there is no end to her talents, and we can be sure there will be no let up in the passion she will bring to the role. Lauren joined the industry as a Saturday staffer while studying equine science, as her first love has always been horses. Taking quickly to the profession, she embraced her vocation, always staying in her home region of the North East, observing the changing fortunes and regeneration of her hometown Whitley Bay and has always been supported by her professional and the training and information that she sought from NAEA Propertymark helped her on her career journey. Lauren is the driving force behind charity event The Big Propertymark Agent Sleepout, an industry event, raising money to support charities who are working with homeless people, being held in the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in London in November 2019.
