This course explains how private treaty is not the only way to sell a house.

With the rise of the online estate agent it is more important than ever before to use one’s skills to corner the market and maximise clients’ assets. Many properties don’t fetch their highest values by private treaty and many clients want quick, secure sales in preference to the highest price.  Informal tender has had a bad record recently and this session explains how to use it properly.

It also explains how Formal Tender works  -  a preferred option to auction sometimes - and how differing forms of auction can be used to the clients’ and agent’s advantage.
