Market Appraisal and Valuation of Residential Property

As an estate agent, property valuations and appraisals are part and parcel of the working day. Proficiency in valuation techniques is therefore essential to be able to function as a first class agent. The course will look initially at basic valuation theory and the various methods of valuation, followed by the application of relevant valuation methods and how these are applied to the different property types you are likely to encounter as an estate agent. The course will use worked examples where possible.

Alistair George, NAEA Trainer

Alistair George

Alistair’s property career started in 1993 with a work placement at a local Estate Agents office.  He completed a BSc (Hons) in Estate Management whilst working in Estate Agency and joined a Surveyor’s office in 2001. 

An experienced Chartered Surveyor, he now runs his own firm George and Company Surveyors, based in Rugby. The firm is involved in residential and commercial property services including valuation, surveys, property management and agency.
