Negotiators and managers wanting to learn practical tips about the art of effective negotiation throughout the sales process (through negotiating the initial asking price and commission terms, negotiating price reductions, negotiating offers to achieve the best outcome and negotiating on adverse surveys/valuations).


Establish a clear understanding of what the ‘art of negotiation’ is all about and what the key attributes are of a highly skilled negotiator within sales. 

Practical tips and advice on:

  • Setting price (and viewing) expectations at valuation stage
  • Using a formal marketing plan, viewing feedback and website statistics to help negotiate a suitable price reduction after 3-4 weeks
  • What to do (and NOT to do) at the offer stage to ensure that:

a) your seller client feels that you have achieved for them the best possible price from that buyer and
b) your buying client feels that you have helped them secure the property they wanted at a fair price 
c) how to pre-empt and therefore avoid renegotiations from surveys and valuations, but also how to deal with them when they arise.
