Meet the Trainers

The trainers who present our Essential Business Skills and Residential Estate Agency courses have a wealth of skills and many years of experience. Their knowledge can help you, your staff and your company move forward and excel.

David Beaumont

David is a former Trading Standards Officer. He spent 20 years working within the service before setting up his own consultancy business. In addition to training, he has been working with agents for the past 15 years, both proactively to reduce risks and reactively handling problems and complaints.

His experience on both sides of the fence places him in a unique position to advise agents on the whole range of trading standards related matters. As the NAEA Trading Standards Consultant he provides compliance advice to members through the NAEA hotline service.

Andy Farrall

Andy is a chartered safety practitioner, registered consultant and accredited trainer with a proven international track record.

He has spoken at an international h&s conference in Prague, designed and delivered lone worker safety training at major companies and has written a handbook on lone worker safety.



Michael Hare

Michael Hare is based in North Yorkshire and has over 40 years experience of both residential and commercial property. He has covered many aspects of the profession including sales and lettings of both residential and commercial property valuations for most purposes, homebuyer reports and building surveys, property management, auctions, property acquisitions and rent reviews and lease renewals.

Graduating from Leicester Polytechnic (1978), he qualified as a Chartered Surveyor in 1980 and gained a Masters degree in law (LLM) in advanced commercial property law in 2007 from Northumbria University. A former chairman of ICBA, he has previously written the 'Question of Ethics and Practice' section of the magazine and regularly presents courses for both NFoPP and in-house training for individual companies.

Gill Johnson

Gill Johnson has many years' experience in both residential sales and lettings, from the practical aspect of working in branches through to the different demands of being responsible on a regional and national basis.

Gill has been trained as a trainer and in 2004,she set up a training and consultancy business in conjunction with her partner and conducts training across the country. Gill was the lead writer for the residential lettings technical award study material (England and Wales) and has written two of the modules for the recently launched Certificate.


Gayle Partridge

Your staff are your greatest asset and in today's market place, it is no longer acceptable that they are simply "good". They have to be great.

Simon Stone

Simon Stone is a solicitor and senior partner of a practice based in Milton Keynes. With nearly thirty years' experience,

Simon has held senior roles in the title insurance industry and in High Street and volume conveyancing companies, and has trained others and taught law both in the UK and India.



Tim Wakelin

Tim has worked in the residential property industry for in excess of 25 years as an estate agent, letting & managing agent, trainer, and consultant, working with both single office independent companies and multi office organisations throughout the UK.

Tim has contributed to a number of articles in publications including The Estate Agent, Agreement Magazine, The Independent and The Financial Times in relation to risk management and residential property in the UK. He is a Fellow of the National Association of Estate Agents and holds the Association's Certificate in Residential Letting and Management.
