Estate Agent Qualifications

The NFoPP Awarding Body is a sister company of NAEA, providing regulated, nationally recognised qualifications across a range of levels.

Residential Sales Qualifications

There are two qualifications for residential sales: the Level 3 Technical Award in Sale of Residential Property, which is set as the required level of qualification in order to join NAEA as a full Member, and the Level 4 Certificate in Sale of residential property, with which you can join NAEA at the Fellow grade. NAEA fully support both of these NFoPP Awarding Body qualifications.

NFoPP Level 3 / Level 6 Technical Award

The NFoPP Level 3 (England, Wales and Northern Ireland) and Level 6 (Scotland) Technical Award in Sale of Residential Property is a home study qualification and upon successful achievement an application to become a full Member of NAEA can be submitted.

NFoPP Level 4 Certificate

The NFoPP Awarding Body also offers the next level of qualification which is accepted along with 5+ years' industry experience for Fellow membership of NAEA.

The Level 4 Certificate in Sale of Residential Property is currently only applicable to England, Wales & Northern Ireland and builds upon the knowledge gained and proven within the Level 3 Technical Award in Sale of Residential Property. Candidates must hold the Level 3 to progress onto the Level 4 Certificate.

The NFoPP Awarding Body is regulated by Ofqual and the qualifications offered are approved and regulated by Ofqual and also in conjunction with NAEA.
