RightMove has published
its house price index for June. Key points include:
The price of new property coming to market was up by £2,476
(+1%), a third consecutive national high
- There are new asking price records in London and the South
East
- London average asking prices were 3% ahead of RPI since August
2007
- Welsh asking prices fell furthest in real terms over this
period
- 29,394 sellers a week came to market prior to the Jubilee break
- the highest new listing run-rate for two years
