30 years since Suzy Lamplugh disappeared, what's changed?

Friday 23 September 2016

It's 30 years this year since estate agent Suzy Lamplugh went missing whilst out on a house viewing.

The charity set up in her name - Suzy Lamplugh Trust has seized the anniversary of the 25 year old's disappearance to once again raise awareness of safety across the housing sector.

“When Suzy went missing, it was in the days before smart phones - the only clue her company had to whereabouts was an entry in the diary,” said Lara Wilks-Sloan of Suzy Lamplugh Trust. “Things have changed since 1986 but research we'll be releasing on National Personal Safety Day shows safety in the housing sector is still a concern.”

As we go to press, the Trust is working with the National Association of Estate Agents and other partners on a project to be unveiled on October 5th - National Personal Safety Day. Check out our web-site, Facebook and Twitter feeds for news on the day - we'll bring you the full story in our next edition.
