'Tis almost the season...

And in the spirit of spreading cheer, Agents Giving's winter coat campaign is back for 2018, helping to collect unwanted winter warmers for those in need.

Last year Agents Giving had a fantastic response to its Winter Coat Drive, which saw the collection of a record 4500 coats in total - that's more than 500 bags full of unwanted coats - which were then donated to homeless charities and shelters throughout the UK.

And this year is no different, as the charity continues to push for agents to keep collecting old coats for their local communities now that the weather is getting colder.

This will be the third year running that Propertymark have supported Agents Giving's winter coat campaign, helping to raise awareness of the cause and collecting coats to donate to local shelters.

But we're not the only ones getting involved, LCA Jobs, Thomas Morris Estate Agents, Chestertons, Embrace Mortgage Services, Paramount and CJ Hole have all joined in, collecting coats for charities including Calling London, Launchpad Reading, Wrap Up London and YMCA.

All of these charities, and others close to you, will no doubt be collecting big, small, padded or hooded coats, for all ages, in the run up to Christmas. So if you have a jacket lurking at the back of your wardrobe that you don't really like, need or want anymore, why not donate it to someone who really needs it.

Michael Stoop, Agents Giving director, says: “We always have a fantastic response to the Winter Coat Drive with property agents and experts alike collecting coats for those in need. Most winter nights the temperature will drop below zero, and the vulnerable are in desperate need for insulation to keep warm, which is why we are continuing to push for agents to keep on collecting coats and donating.”

As part of the drive, Agents Giving has been asking supporters to join the conversation on twitter using #wintercoatcampaign and email photos of your coat collections to info@agentsgiving.org.
