Have you logged your CPD for 2016?

Monday 14 November 2016

With the end of the year nearing, now is the time if you haven’t already, to log your CPD. This needs to be completed no later than 31 January 2017.

Continual professional development (CPD) is an essential part of NAEA membership and at least 12 hours’ must be completed annually.

This can be made up of both formal and private study, including –

  • Attending a conference or NAEA event or meeting
  • Completing short courses
  • Reviewing Property Professional magazine
  • Engaging in webinars
  • Responding to consultations
  • Researching legislation
  • Attending team meetings

CPD is part of recognising the ongoing need to develop and provide a better service. It is important to keep an up-to-date online record of any new skills or knowledge gained which support you in your daily role.

Remember that CPD can be submitted as and when it is achieved so make sure you log any relevant event; it all adds up.

If you are currently studying for a nationally recognised qualification, this can also count towards your continuing personal development, however this will still need to be logged on the member’s portal.

You can submit your CPD hours by logging into the NAEA Member’s area or for more information and guidance, you can contact the Membership Team on 01926 417360.
