NAEA Pays Tribute To Former President, Peter Light

Wednesday 14 December 2016

National Association of Estate Agents (NAEA) pay tribute to Peter Light who sadly passed away over the weekend of 10/11 December 2016 after being diagnosed with cancer.

Peter was President of NAEA in 1982, but continued to work hard for the organisation after his time in office.

Through his active work as President and as a member of the College of Fellows and Trustee of the Arbon Trust charity he helped the organization to grow.

Peter was also a member of the Tribunal Team helping to deal with disciplinary matters.

Commenting on the news, NAEA MD Mark Hayward, said:

“Peter was a professional and this could be seen at first hand as a hard working President for NAEA and in his continued roles throughout the organisation. He was a regular at NAEA conferences and always on hand to drive things forward. We will miss his thoughtful input and expert opinion. Fundamentally, Peter was well respected by all that worked with him and held in high esteem by the organisation and NAEA colleagues, but above all a complete gentleman and a gentle man. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.”
