Belfast Telegraph Property Awards 2015

Thursday 03 December 2015

Hundreds of people from across the Northern Ireland property industry gathered recently at the packed out Culloden Hotel to celebrate the best the industry has to offer.

It was the first time that the Belfast Telegraph Property Awards have been held since 2008, when they were put on hold after the turbulent times that followed the property bubble burst.

Belfast Telegraph Editor Gail Walker said: "It's a sign of growing confidence in the market gain and of a return to a more positive time."

The awards cover 10 categories with everything from estate agents and architects to interior designers and builders and were hosted by top Irish Comedian Neil Delamere, with our very own Daryl McIntosh, NAEA Executive on the judging panel.

Daryl McIntosh, NAEA Business Development Executive said: "We're excited to have been part of this event, which really sings the praises of the best the property industry has to offer. We're also very proud that amongst the finalists and winners NAEA Licensed agency Simon Brien Residential claimed top prize of Northern Ireland Residential Agency of the Year. They are a shining example of the extremely high standards which are typical of NAEA agents"

Simon Brien of award winning agency Simon Brien Residential said:
"We are delighted to have won the Northern Ireland Residential Agency of the Year at the recent Belfast Telegraph Awards.

"It is a great accolade to each and every member of our team, who really have made a huge effort to build on the strong position that we have in the Northern Ireland market through new marketing initiatives, serving existing clients in a professional and efficient manner, and forging new relationships with new private, corporate and developer clients.

"The last 18 months have been exceptionally busy, as confidence continues to build in the Northern Ireland market, and with Simon Brien residential having completed over 1800 sales over that period , and the launch of many high profile exclusive residential developments , the next year and beyond look very healthy with a sustainable market and strong demand.

"Without the strength of our team, the Company could not develop market share in the manner which we have.

"To have been credited with Belfast Telegraph/Property News Northern Ireland Residential Agency of the Year Award, together with 'The Negotiator Northern Ireland Agency of the Year' Award in London recently; further underpins our position, and with these awards carrying such recognition in the UK and Northern Ireland Property Markets, we are confident that the award will be positively received by existing and new clients, and will lead to further business opportunities."

Young Agent of the Year award went to Stephanie Patterson of Rea Estates, who is currently training to become an ARLA member, and Letting Agency of the Year also went to an ARLA members, Rea Estates.
