Arbon Trust achieves charitable status

Wednesday 12 August 2015

We’re delighted to announced that after a long and challenging road, Arbon Trust has now been granted charitable status.

This means that Arbon Trust can now benefit from tax relief and the ability to be able to make full use of Gift Aid and can claim an extra 25p for every £1 that is donated!

With the benefit of Gift Aid we can help more members of our associations, past and present , on any level of membership who have fallen on hard times, including potential students and members of the public who may be struggling to take educational qualifications.

Even before achieving charitable status, we’d already provided help to members including the installation of a new home boiler for retired member who was suffering financial hardship, and a contribution towards an extension that a member who had become infirm needed to live a better quality of life. We now hope to be able to help even more people with your help.

Visit our easyfundraising page to donate. Alternatively you can donate by cheque payable to Arbon Trust.

There is a huge variety of retailers taking part in the scheme, who will donate a percentage of the purchase price - and the best thing is, you don't pay any extra! What have you got to loose?!
