Lansons and NAEA – working for you

Friday 17 April 2015

Lansons, our PR company began working with us back in June 2014 and since then we’ve seen the fruits of our combined labours with a huge increase in media interest and benefit of our key message and principles.

Since June 2014, together we have seen:

A total of 1539 pieces of quality coverage, 1058 for NAEA, 478 for ARLA.

We’ve had 304 pieces of National Press coverage.  250 for NAEA, an increase of 114% from last year, and 54 for ARLA, a 50% increase from last year. Included in these figures is the amazing front page coverage we’ve had in the National Press, three times – the Daily Mail, Sunday Express and The Daily Telegraph. That means that since Lansons began working with us, we’ve been in the National press the equivalent of every day!

In addition, we’ve also had 155 pieces of property trade coverage.

In total, coverage has reached an astonishing 5,657,244,753 people. This means that everyone in the UK could have seen or heard about NAEA/ARLA 88 times each since June last year.

Our Housing Market Reports and ARLA PRS reports showed our expertise, securing 759 pieces of coverage, a fifth of which was the National press. We were on TV and radio 58 times talking about our reports!

Topics we were in the press about included: Mansion Tax, CHAPS BoE system failure, Stamp Duty, Autumn Statement, Budget 2015, Property Redress Scheme, Deregulation Act, Consumer Rights Act, and the Scottish Referendum.

Broadcasting - reaching out directly to consumers

138 broadcast items in total and we’ve been watched or heard by 90.5 million people. Simon Gerrard, Mark Hayward and David Cox have all appeared on BBC channels

Our Look for the Logo campaign on its own achieved21 pieces of coverage for NAEA, reaching 40,788,869 people, with 44 pieces of coverage for ARLA reaching 41,482,037 people.

Of course, we won’t rest on a laurels and we be aiming to exceed our achievements for 2014/15 in the coming year.
