Membership Grades

Student Membership is open to company employees only, who wish to study for the NFoPP Technical Award in Sale of Residential Property.  This grade of membership lasts for two years, allowing enough time to become qualified for full member grade. If you are studying for NFoPP Technical Award in Sale of Residential Property you are still subject to their regulations.

The Student grade of membership is not available to company Principals (Sole Traders), Partners (Full Partners) or Directors (as listed at Companies House).

Subscription fee £115.00 per year + non refundable £50.00 application fee, please ensure that you meet the criteria prior to joining.

Applicants must hold the NFoPP Technical Award in Sale of Residential Property, or a comparable, nationally recognised, qualification which is Residential Estate Agency specific, and approved by the Association for membership. If a PPD at your company is an NAEA Licensed agent, once joined you too will become an NAEA Licensed agent.

Designatory Letters: MNAEA

Subscription fee £190.00 per year + non refundable £50.00 application fee, please ensure that you meet the criteria prior to joining.

It's a mandatory requirement for all Principals, Partners or Directors (PPD) members of NAEA that you have responsibilities for every company of which you are PPD, and which operates as an agent in property sales, lettings, property management, and block management. In order to maintain professional standards within the NAEA, you must demonstrate that each company meets the following criteria upon joining, and annually thereafter.

Applicants must hold:

• The NFoPP Technical Award in Sale of Residential Property, or a comparable, nationally recognised, qualification which is Residential Estate Agency specific, and approved by the Association for membership.

• Professional Indemnity Insurance
• Independent redress for all business disciplines that are property related
• If holding Client Money then also the following must be supplied:
  
  • Client Money Protection (CMP) scheme cover
  • NAEA accountants report (AR) on their handling of client's money

By fulfilling this criteria, once joined you will become an NAEA Licensed agent.
