Why Join the National Association of Estate Agents?

Gain a voice in your industry as a member of a nationally recognised body. Government departments, local authorities, legal bodies, insurance companies, trade organisations and the general public are all increasingly accepting the role of the NAEA in defining industry standards.

Enhanced Credibility
  • Whether you are a business owner or an employee, use of the designatory letters MNAEA or FNAEA after your name tells clients and colleagues that you are a qualified professional and belong to a reputable, recognised professional body.
  • Principal, Partner and Director members may use the NAEA logo on personal stationery, advertising, promotional material and websites.  Employee members are entitled to use the logo on personal stationery, e.g. business cards, only.

Business Support
  • FREE legal hotline dealing with specific Estate Agency Act queries, general business, tax, conveyancing and employment law matters.
  • FREE Trading Standards helpline dealing with issues and queries relating to the Property Misdescriptions Act and Estate Agency Act. This facility is also helpful for members facing enforcement action.
  • Invaluable publicity via the ‘Register of Members’ on the home page of the NAEA website – many consumers now look specifically for an NAEA agent.
  • FREE upload of properties to the PropertyLive portal www.PropertyLive.co.uk for NAEA members who are Principals, Partners or Directors.
  • Discounted rates for recruitment advertising and access to the NAEA members-only recruitment website http://vacancies.naea.co.uk
  • Discounted Corporate Advertising opportunities are offered to members by Yellow Pages and Thomson Directories. 94% of directory users say they are more likely to contact a company that is a member of a professional body or trade association.
  • NAEA membership automatically entitles you to membership of CEI – Confédération Européenne de l’Immobilier – which represents the interests of estate agents in Europe. Its aim is to develop and standardise estate agency practise throughout Europe. NAEA members who are Principals, Partners or Directors can advertise the CEI logo and upload their properties to the CEI website free of charge.
  • NAEA membership also entitles you to benefit from the NAEA membership of ICREA – the International Consortium of Real Estate Associations – including use of the logo. Members details are listed on the website www.worldproperties.com and PPD members whose properties are listed on www.propertylive.co.uk also get their properties uploaded to this website FREE OF CHARGE.
